Main functions of the Board
The main functions of the Prison Administration Board include the provision of custody as a means of safety and confinement as the means of implementation of criminal penalty. Inferiors of the PAB include 15 imprisonment facilities and the PAB Training Center. The PAB organizes and controls the activities of its inferior bodies and provide the financial and logistic base thereof, as well as it performs other functions set forth in legislative acts.
