The aim of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation is to provide European Union citizens and businesses with online access to information, administrative procedures and assistance services. For example, to obtain information about traveling, living, working, studying or doing business in another country.

This section contains the information specified in Annex 1 to the Single Digital Gateway Regulation, which is the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia.

Members of the board and council may be held civilly and criminally liable. At the same time, a member of the board or council cannot be held liable under civil or criminal law if they can prove that they have acted as a prudent and diligent manager. If the board or council consists of several members, they shall be jointly and severally liable for losses caused to the capital company, unless any of the members of the board or council proves that they have acted as a prudent and diligent manager.

Members of the board and council shall be considered personally liable for the losses caused, regardless of whether the losses were caused by intentional or unintentional violations. In each situation, it is assessed whether the member of the board or council has acted as a prudent and diligent manager.

A member of the board or council shall be held personally liable for the losses caused if they have shown a lack of diligence and diligence that a prudent and diligent manager should generally observe.
