The following persons participated in the opening of the Economic Court: Egils Levits, President of Latvia, Angel Gurría, OECD Secretary-General, Jānis Bordāns, Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, Aigars Strupišs, the Chairman of the Judicial Council, Juris Stukāns, the Prosecutor General, Daiga Vilsone, the Chairperson of Riga Regional Court, Miķelis Zumbergs, Acting Chairman of the Economic Court, Juris Jurašs, Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Saeima, Mario Vukelić, the President the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatia, and Māris Vainovskis, Head of the FICIL Working Group.
After the opening (at 11:40) the online press conference was held, where Jānis Bordāns, Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, Daiga Vilsone, the Chairperson of Riga Regional Court, Miķelis Zumbergs, Acting Chairman of the Economic Court and Māris Vainovskis, Head of the FICIL Working Group participated.
